Anna made her directorial debut with Cybernetic Genesis – War Between Two Worlds, a high-concept Sci-Fi Action feature theatrically released in Tuscany and Lazio and currently awaiting VOD distribution.

The film achieved:

Advancing Her Directorial Work

Following the success of Cybernetic Genesis, Anna expanded her directorial focus into new high-concept properties designed for global markets.

She is represented by an international acquisition & production agent, through whom her projects are currently being presented to major studios, producers, and global co-production partners in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

Her second high-concept feature screenplay, Wave Man, earned her Best Director awards, with multiple juries highlighting her ability to integrate a director’s visual execution methodology directly into the script — a trait considered rare and valuable in international development.

My work is driven by one core idea: cinema must create worlds powerful enough to cross borders.

As a director, I focus on high-concept Sci-Fi, Action, and Thriller storytelling, building cinematic universes that combine emotional impact, large-scale visual language, and the narrative clarity required for global audiences — especially in the United States and China, where worldbuilding, mythology, and character-driven momentum form the foundation of successful franchises.

I approach every film as a complete ecosystem: visuals, characters, technology, and emotional arcs must evolve together. I am deeply committed to designing frames that communicate energy and intention, choreographing action in a way that enhances story rather than distracts from it, and shaping a visual identity that can expand beyond a single film into series, games, or transmedia.

My creative process begins at the writing stage.
I don’t simply write scripts — I engineer them with VFX and CGI already embedded into the narrative design. This allows me to construct sequences, environments, and cinematic moments that are not only visually striking, but also production-ready and scalable for international co-productions. Integrating visual effects concepts early in the script enables a more cohesive and efficient workflow, delivering worlds that feel alive, cohesive, and designed for premium global audiences.

My background in independent filmmaking has taught me to maximize scale with precision, while my work in international development has strengthened my ability to create narratives that travel — stories that resonate across cultures while maintaining a strong, distinctive voice.

I am particularly drawn to characters who confront the unknown: new worlds, new systems, new versions of themselves. Through them, I explore themes of identity, transformation, conflict, and the intersection between humanity and technology — themes that speak to both Western and Eastern audiences.

Ultimately, my goal as a director is to create films that deliver scope, spectacle, and emotional depth, while offering producers a universe with long-term value, franchise potential, and global market viability.
